AWSpoofwil Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 Hey, I just realized that my Datsun 620 that I bought 5 days ago doesn't have a working 5th gear.. would it be easily possible/ possible at all to put a stock ka24de (240sx series) tranny in it? Dawa Posted October 22, 2012 Report Share Posted October 22, 2012 ive read about using a ka in a 510/620 and it seems like a whole lotta work. id rather just source an old 5 speed (which is very ironic because i just came back from OC [as in 5 minutes ago,] where i bought a 5 speed trans from a dude on craigslist.) so what im trying to say is, keep checking craigslist. im in sd, and was having no luck, so i expanded my search to OC (1.5 hour drive.) and found a trans within a week.
