angliagt Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 I have a '78 B210.It came with A/C.I ripped it out,& started to go through the whole car.It's dark Blue - do I put the A/C back (from a parts car)? Kramer1981 Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 That cars gonna be an oven...I say put it back in. Mines that awful drak green and it gets hot in there. I havent messed with my a/c yet other than check the blower and turn the compressor by hand. I am not sure if it has a TXV or a check piston, either way that could be the biggest issue. Pistons can be cleaned and put back in, TXVs usually have to be replaced Quote Link to comment
