71datsuns Posted October 8, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 Well I just bought and installed a set of Koito amber fog/high beams and I want all the headlamps to match. So for now I took the original Koito high beams (clear) and put them in the position of the standard headlamp and put the Koito amber fogs in the high beam spot. But I cant run high beams as standard driving lights, soooooooooooo I would like to keep them OE. Link to comment

DanielC Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 It may be difficult to find the Koito three prong headlights. They are the high/low beam combination, and most of the time the low beam part is on, and that is the part that burns out, just because of the time the headlight has been on, A 40 year old truck has had a lot of time for the headlights to be on. And if you do get some that work currently, they may burn out soon. Link to comment
