question about 510 2dr Tail light questions. (changes 68-73)

i'm looking to buy new tail light outer chromes (trim) and I was wondering did the model for tail lights ever change between 69-73?

 

i know 68 its a different style tail light and of course wagons and jap/mexican birds are different.

 

but my question is: Do the tail light model ever change after 1969 model?

 

i'm asking because theres a set on Ebay right now, saying its ok for 69-72. But my car is true 73 with the defroster and lighted knobs. will it fit?

Those lights are the EURO ones - AMBER corners. pretty rare ones but not as rare as the Bluebird one piece. He probably has a high reserve. I have those lights on my car and the chrome is different on those. Look the same but clips awkward on non-Euros.

you can also tell these lights came from a car with lots of rust because the bulbs were overheating from corrosion and grounding problems on the positive cables.

Looking at the parts manual I only see one part number listed starting from August of 1968 to end of model.

The USA-spec 69-73 tail lamps were all the same, thus the chrome trim was all the same.

The Canadian '68s also had amber turn lamps. I had one though this isn't it...
