Dat Lurka Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 We just had 4 days of rain followed by a 24 hours of torrential downpour then this morning it dropped to 32° I had to go around the whole truck scraping ice off the windows. ha it's mud but it does have a tiny bit of overspray on that wheel that I cleaned up with some spirits and steel wool. Yeah the body is pretty straight just a few trouble spots like the bottom of fender and drivers door looks like it go drug across a tree at some point in history. Bought a stick on blindspot mirror from advance after work. What a difference it made. First time I've worked with the topper on and I swear people were purposely driving in my blind spot. Dat Lurka Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 This is probably the last trip I'll take in this truck. Took a friend and the dog up to Lake Issaqueena for a bike ride. The truck might be gone today or Monday. I put in the work and money to save it from certain death in the backyard of a trailer park. Owner just called me to make sure I'm getting it cause some Georgia boy is trying to buy it out from under me. It's outside of my Datto budget but hopefully it will be worth it. Quote Link to comment
