bass
i just installed 31x10.5 15" mud tires on my 1972 620, and there is minimal clearance from tire - quarter panel, my leaf springs only have two leaves per side, i think the last guy took a leaf out cuz it was lowered on 2" blocks should i get a new or used set with 3 leaves? or has anyone have experience with add a leaf? jc whitney sells some for pretty cheap that say they lift the truck a couple inches, im not looking for a lot of lift, just enough to clear the tires and room for flex without rubbing, i dont realy want to locate springs on top of axle because i dont really want to mess with lifting the front more than tosion arms allow. truck looks pretty tough with the mudders. thanks bass Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Do a 4" body lift. Well, that, and some extra springs added. Quote Link to comment

Well, that, and some extra springs added. I would look into gettting another set of stock rear springs. If you are able to do a small bit of fab you could run longer springs for a more supple suspension. If you need lift you can move the axle under the springs and get about 5-6" Let's see some pics  Quote Link to comment
