datzenmike Posted April 30, 2007 Report Share Posted April 30, 2007 If you are running a square into round header I wouldn't worry, just get it sealled tight. The flange should be the same thickness as the intake flange so that the washer on the bottom bolts will hold them evenly. The only way you might burn a valve is if the header scavenges the cylinder more efficiently and it runs lean. Not likely on a stock application. Quote Link to comment
