The Ultimate is not supposed to be used in an engine compartment (I think the gooey stuff would melt), but they also sell a product designed to take the engine compartment heat, although I haven't tried that stuff . . . sanitys Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 i would sound proof mine but i want to keep the weight down. current goal is under 2200, we will see what it weighs after my mods, and if its under my goal my a bit ill add sound proofing.
