WTB: fwd lower end of rear wheel arch

Recommended Posts

Hello!

During replacement of the sills of my 510( have had it for 18years) i found rust 20cm up

along rear wheel arch, on left side. Would like to buy a rust free piece for this, if someone have a

donor car to cut from!

I can send pictures of area, if needed.

MUST be rustfree!

Appreciate respons, still hoping that the car can be fixed...:-)

I think he means "forward". Sounds like the lower formed section, where the wheel arch lip rolls down into the trailing end of the sill/rocker panel. Might be a hard piece to find rust free...........

Hello, thanks for your responses! I have updated the title of topic, hoping it descibes better now what I am looking for :-)

Yenpit described it: "where the wheel arch lip rolls down into the trailing end of the sill/rocker panel."

I am located in Norway, so metal piece must be shipped here. There is few 510 left here, and much rust involved.

(I picked up my 240Z in California, to find one with little rust).

I have new sills for my 510, made locally. The problem is the arch lip from the end of sill and approx 12-15cm up above top of sill.

Would be great if I still could by this from Nissan!

I have checked that this "dogleg" is no longer available at Nissan in Europe, but

might still be available in US.

Any suggestions to me, regarding Nissan shop I could contact to ask for this??

If not, still interested in rustfree cutouts from donor car!
