reese
I am replacing the head gasket on my truck soon and would also like to replace the rusty studs that hold the exhaust manifold to the head. Does anyone know the length on these studs? Does anyone make a Stainless bolt and stud kit for the intake / exhaust manifold? Does Nissan still sell these parts, if so anyone know the part #s? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Seeing as you have to take them out to switch, just take one with you to a hardware store and dig through their stock. SS is a great idea. Quote Link to comment
reese
That is the right way to do it but I am going to be out in the country with no car to drive after I take my head off.. pretty sketchy! Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
wolfcreek racing has the nissan ones or if you know the part # use anti seize compound some motors use studs 3 like in the middle and at the ends. the inners are bolts. But you can put all studs in there that you want. it just depends how or what you want or just do as stock. Quote Link to comment
