e3 spark plugs

I just bought a set of E3 spark plugs, they are expensive about $6 each but they have a 5yr/100,000 mile warranty(yes I mean 100 thousand mile)my truck has never ran this smoooth!! I was seeing how slow I can idle and still be smooth with the throttle response, when I got to 500rpm I thoght ih crap this is rediculious! I think it is worth the $6 a plug

I remember way back when Car Craft tested the then-new Accel SplitFire plugs.

 

YES. they did increase power. But then so did new regular plugs at 1/5 the cost.

I'm sure that platinum plugs are slightly better: Last longer, etc. Am I mistaken?

Actually I run platinum in my L20B about 5-6 years ago. You know I haven't thought about them once in all that time... never checked them once and they are still in there. Guess they work ok.:D Been across Canada at least three times on 'em.

yes it was more because they are new and once I put them in I can just forget them. but you know what with these I turnd the idle dowwn to 350 rpm and still had good throtle response
