haha well I can ride. Just trying to do it legally. I am riding a yamaha xs 650.

 

either way though I have to break the law because I don't have anyone over 21 I know that already has an endorsement to ride with me. So I just go out.

sounds like oregon laws are screwy.

 

'round here you get a permit for 6 months, and the only limitations are you can't ride after dark or with a passenger

Rules for riding with a permit

 

While riding with an instruction permit on a public roadway:

 

* you may not carry passengers.

* you may not ride a motorcycle during the hours of darkness.

I had one...I used to wait for the Harley guys to drive by on Sunday morning and hop on my Honda Elite scooter and try to keep up....They would get a kick out of it!!:lol::lol:

catch you at 85. who goes 60 on a bike? you know unless your slowing down for a stop. or you see a cop.

 

well you kinda just have to go for a ride if your like me because you dont have anyone to ride with you. just don't get pulled over.

you're off to a bad start. especially considering there aren't any 65mph highways in oregon

no but out in the country [where I used to live] there is the "basic rule". Your allowed to go as fast as deemed safe by whatever cop can catch you. But I don't usually speed [that much] on a bike anyways. after you top your bike out a couple times its loses its neatness factor. I like to just ride and cruise at a decent speed. thats why I don't like the crotch rocket type of bikes. built for speed and not very comfortable.

 

plus they are just ticket machines. and I don't need any of those.
