Formula mesh is out of the picture for now. He may still sell them to me somewhere down the line. I'm actually ok with it.. I can shift the money elsewhere.

Anyways:

Hm... still can't tell if I'll have a problem here.. but the stretched tires should make it work:

yeah i definately should've went a little negative on my setup aswell, i got the same problems on my 9.5's hoping a 205/45-55/16 tire wont rub anything. What tire size you trying to run and whats ur specs?

225/50/15s stretched on 10.5 inches on the rear... 205/50/15s stretched on 9.5s in the front.

I actually think I'll make it just barely with the 4.5 inches of backspacing. If not.. I'm planning on going s13 coilovers soon anyways to get enough room to clear.

Under compression I'd think those would tuck just inside your flares just fine. If you haven't already ordered tires - I'd look in to some 225/45's for the rear. You can get some cool tires at really affordable prices in that size. Your tire profiles would be a lot closer with those in the rear also.

Regardless, car's looking awesome!

Thanks man! I guess its kind of hard to look at my own car and think that its up to par with some of the others around here.

You're right about the cool tires in 225/45... I already have the 225/50s on order.. but I'll have to see how these stretch and look on the car.

Hah, its nice to see that people at least want to take a picture of the car.

To be honest though, I still can't look at my car and put it in the same class as yours and other people's on this site.

I think this was a case of good timing.

You've got me beat - my shit doesn't even work!

So... I decided to take a hiatus from the project.

I've been unsuccessfully trying to save for a house (and a garage) for the last 6 months and I decided to stop putting money into the car so I can actually get there.

I'll still lurk around and might jump on a few deals if they come my way, though.

On the zcc flares, I get some pretty major gaps between fender and flare in the front. Some big enough I can stick a finger through. I looked around, and really couldn't find any images of anybody else running them.

I've never seen these gaps when people are running MSA though, so I thought I would give it a shot and just sell whichever flares fit worst.

I'm running MSA flares and the gap without welting is very small, like 1/8 at its biggest, and barely.

I dont like zcc, they have had a lot of public complaints and a lot of their shit seems sketch to me. How they can be so taxed on in house or local sourced stuff but then so cheap on "jdm sourced" parts?seems fishy to me.

Yep. I switched to MSA. Much better fitment. Such a waste of money. =/
