521 No start

Last friday My 521 had the brakes lock up. Fixed that by bleeding the master at my Dads house. Seems to be working.

Then Sat the truck wouldnt start just a Er then nothing Light dims when I hit the key.

 

I push started and and said I better go home. parked it and shut off. Hit start It did it again.

 

I got the Volt meter out. I cked th batter post to the batt cable. bothe read 12.5 volts.

But then I put the key on to represent a light load to the fuse box. and did the same thing. Batt post to batt cable. showed a 3 volt drop. Si if I hit the starter it would KILL IT

 

Looked closely the batt cable lug was cracking and makiing bad contack.

I Think he's telling us to make sure to always check wires, he would figure out this sort of thing easily. :lol:

My car wouldn't start cause of a loose ground and I thought i was fucked
