budsaipan
Hey was wondering if there's any difference between the 620 and 720 strut rods? Is the 720 bigger? Also for torsion bars, I noticed theres a raised markings on one end of it. Is it suppose to face front or rear? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Tension rods? They attach to the lower control arm and forward to the frame? The 720 ones are a different part number. Are the splines identical? If so look on the ends L or R should be stamped so be sure they are on the correct side. They will not last long is swapped side to side. Quote Link to comment
budsaipan
Does it matter if the stamped end is facing the rear of the truck or the front? Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Here's a couple shots of mine. Did not see a stamp. Front mount, has the large nut. Control arm. Hope that helps :) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Hmmm no way to mix those up maybe he means torsion rod. Quote Link to comment
budsaipan
Yeah meant the torsion rod. Although I really appreciate the time you took to do it. So thank you. Is your truck inside your house in pic1?? lol. Anyway the torsion rod has a stamp L and R with circle arrows on one end of it. Maybe it doesnt matter as long as I get the right side on the right and left on the left. Quote Link to comment
budsaipan
Hey I just noticed the tension rod is different as mine as well. Mine's a 79.. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
L and R sure matters. Do not put Left and Right on the wrong sides. As long as the ends look the same it shouldn't matter which end is forward. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
The truck is in my garage  I would say you want to get the correct end forward to insure the torsion bar twists in the right direction. Not sure which direction is correct though. :) Quote Link to comment
