yello620
I didnt do anything to mine, and i have a 2.5" pipe running under the crossmember. You need to be really low for this to be a concern. Quote Link to comment
dscottdatsun
I will be running a new 2" exhaust front to rear and want to make room for future suspension plans. I have built lowered trucks in the past and have always tucked the exhaust as much as possible. I have an idea of what i want - just looking to see if someone else might have a better idea or insperation for improvements before I start. :) Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
The transmission cross member isn't the problem if you are trying to tuck your exhaust. It's the torsion bar cross member. Trying to stuff the exhaust between it, the torsion arm bolts and the trans tunnel is the problem. Good luck, no easy way other crush fitting the exhaust that I have seen. Quote Link to comment
