jchristians
Looking to buy some NICE 1971 521 stock mirrors... victor_ryanheart at hotmail dot com Link to comment
DanielC
I do not think there were "stock" mirrors on Datsun 521 trucks. I believe they all were dealer installed, here in the United states. Link to comment
jchristians
hmmm... What were the dealer installed options?? So, they were sold w/out side mirrors?? Link to comment
DanielC
I have seen mirrors low on the door, that just attach to the door skin, mirrors that have an attachment on the top of the door, and on the door skin, and mirrors with a third leg as a brace to prevent forward and back movement. I have also seen pictures of trucks with mirrors mounted on the front fender. I think the dealer used whatever they had available, or sometimes the customer of a new truck may have been given and option of what type of mirror they wanted. Just a wild guess, you might fond something acceptable from JC Whitney. Link to comment
dat521gatherer
This is the one you want to find. I saw 2 on ebay last year both were nos with nissan part numbers. The owners manual lists it as a option but as a fender option like the japan version. I believe those were both stock. You could also have them put on the big after market truck mirrors. Or wrap around bumper or amco side steps and side handles ect. Link to comment
candygreenmonster
I also need some mirrors does anyone have a link to where i could get them? Or does anyone have some on sale? Link to comment
MikeRL411
This outside miror is a Roberk available at Kragen or JCWhitney. Buy at Kragen and save the shipping charges. They are almost identical to the one that came factory on my RL411. It even fits the factory mounting base. Link to comment
