KC Phirus
If the trans is attached to the ka/vg, the harness should be there. Side note: Why would you put an auto in a samurai? Quote Link to comment

Crawling and just general wheeling is much better with a auto. And I wouldnt have to plumb and make a hydraulic clutch work. Sammy clutch is cable operated. Thanks leacon gonna check out the link. datsunrides
May be easier to use a Z series trans, or a L trans with the Z bell for a KA. No need to have a computer control the trans. (smaller too!) Mark Quote Link to comment

No need to have a computer control the trans. (smaller too!) Mark I have thought about that also. But sammy gearing is pretty low since the transfer case is divorced and reducts the high range with the 4.1 gears so without overdrive highway driving would be like me basically not using 5th gear now. I think? My heart isnt set on the auto trans. I've also thought of just using the std 720 4x4 trans behind a ka. I belive their short and divorced as well. I would like to know the gear ratios of the 80 to 83 720 4x4 trans. Quote Link to comment
H5WAGON
It's pretty easy... I think I still have pin outs... Quote Link to comment
