KC Phirus Posted January 27, 2012 Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 no an fj is its own motorplant out of a dr30 skyline from early 80's the motor you might be thinking of is os giken dohc l series it costs $60,000 to build bacause the molds were made of wood and got deformed. I didn't mean literally. Surely there are some Lements in there. Apparently these things are putting 300+ at the wheels with a turbo I swear I've seen one in a hardbody, locally, definitely looked like it from the top. Going to go take a look! 73GTV Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 jdmdime has a build thread on utting an fj in a 510 he might be able to tell you what the measurements are. it does not have the brackets for the alternator as far as pictures of the distributor go ill have to get back to you on that but for now i have this pic Perfect, These folk may be able to help get the distributor cap and all.
