Draynor Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 Well...It looks like I am going to be showing up to Canby in my newly acquired 80 Corolla gOOn. The reason being is I sold my 620 . It's actually kinda a cool story... I was at Walmart (Troutdale) and when I came out there was a note on my 620. Note said: I am the original owner of this truck, I sold it to a guy 7 years ago,not sure if you are him or not, but I would really like to know if you would be interested in selling it back to me? Here is my number 503-xxx-xxxx. So I called the guy up, I told him how I got the truck and how I got it with 3 owners before me, and then we just ended up talking for about an hour about the 620. Anyways I ended up driving to his house, the guy is real cool and he even has pictures of him when he got the truck, I am going to try and get some copies of those from him for you guys. Yes sadly for me I ended up selling it back to him, But nothing could beat that smile on his face. He even still had the original bench seat in his garage he took it out before he sold it. I told him about Ratsun, he is not really computer savy so... well see if he shows up maybe... I also found a secret about this 620, apparently it was originally orange in color, so somebody before me and after him gave it a pretty awesome paint job cause I had no Idea. So I hope no one gives me grief for bringing the item below to Canby 2012 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks for all the finds but I think have something already planned, now it's not a Datto...But I have a chance to pick up a Mazda RX-2 and RX-3 we shall see. They have been sitting in a neighbors yard for ever! But hey I still kinda have a Datto, There's always the 520 rusted out front end I have as a lawn ornament sticking out of the dirt lolz So what do you guys think of a RX-2 and 3? Im gonna try and get those RX's and flip em to get these two 510's The 510's I found in a neighborhood in Gladstone,OR. They were this guys sons project when he was in high school but then lost interest, bought a lifted Toyota and now they have been sitting 9 years. There is a Complete orange 4 door (No Bumpers) and a 68 yes 68 2 door, but he did some iffy mods, he welded a plate over the gas tank hole and bonded it, his plan was to move the tank hole to the trunk has the parts but never did it. He also shaved the vents why? Also took out the grill and welded a piece of shit metal there and drilled holes in it wtf? no windshield, but they got parts from hell including a l18,l20b,and a ka with bad injector Damn . The kids dad said his son will probally want $2000, but then he said he will probably take less I just have to call him, the dad said he wants them gone to make room for his jeep projects.
