Skib Posted December 19, 2011 Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 theres a few good heads to use. just depends on what you want from it. your stock head is most likely a W58 open chamber (unless it happens to be an old imported motor) but you can get a W58/W53/A87 peanut head and bump the CR up some. Jester Posted December 20, 2011 Report Share Posted December 20, 2011 I have asked yello620 to do a write up on his headlights rewire job. Not sure if he ever did. You'll notice when you put the H4 lights in that the fuse for the headlights gets even hotter than with the stock bulbs. Give your fuse box a QUICK touch after your lights have been on a while. Laecaon Posted December 20, 2011 Report Share Posted December 20, 2011 Oh yea, before any light upgrade away from sealed beams, make sure to relay your headlights. Stock wiring is thin. Sometimes relaying the stock headlights will make them much brighter than before resulting in not necessarily wanting an upgrade. Quote Link to comment
