datasour14
anyone know how to separate the fan clutch from the water pump. im thinking sawzall but idk if the shaft would slide.gear puller? is there a water pump for it that isnt intergrated with the fan/clutch? my truck had a punch to the nose when i got it, the radiator was smashed into the fan and broke it it was wobbly and noisy. got one out of a 620 and it locked up right after i got it. ninjabortion
the shaft is hardened so you shouldnt have much trouble cutting the clutch off without hurting the shaft too bad as long as you take your time. Quote Link to comment

HRH
Use a '69 510 water pump. Exactly the same pump, just no clutch. Still available from NPW through our Altrom line at NAPA. Quote Link to comment
