77kermit
This has probably been answered already, I just can't seem to find the thread. So my weber 32/36 is leaking fuel at the float bowl gasket, I changed the gasket and reset the floats and it still leaks, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the stock fuel pump rated at 30 psi and the weber needing only 3lbs, or maybe I need to put the old hitachi back on there and let the weber go. any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll have some pics up later with even more questions... Quote Link to comment

77kermit
I found it in the chiltons, however it also covers maximas and pathfinders and it didn't say in the book whether there was one on my car or not, the only gripe I have about that book actually is that I sometimes go looking for things that aren't there, guess this is another one of those cases... arggh Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Thats the rating for an EFI motor the L series pump is 3-3.8 PSI which is high for a Weber. I believe they don't like over 3 or it overpowers the float needle valve and floods the carb. Quote Link to comment
