Amsoil is fine, my uncle uses it. It's like the upper 3 or 4, Amsoil, Royal Purple, Redline, Schaeffers. Their are lots of top grade oil out there and most of them work just fine. When you pay that much it's just preference anyway. Any salesman will tell you different though. ;) Not to turn this in an oil thread, my main point would be:

 

Walmart (Analwarts) should be stayed away from at all costs, even for cheap oil.

Mobile 1 Full Synthetic is what is recommended for the Z32.

There's nothing with Mobil 1. It's my most popular full synthetic.

 

 

But then again, we don't carry AMSoil or carry much in the way of Royal Purple right now.

I've got a few references saying they saw a 6hp loss using Mobile 1 vs Royal Purple on a Dyno. Not to mention a loss in your wallet.

 

To be fair I don't have the dyno sheets in front of me, but these guys are credible. Without the dyno sheets, it's all a wash, I know.

 

Never tried AMSoil, but it's got a terrible name. AMS is a horrible company that is ran by a bunch of crooks. I know there is no relation.
