Ron1200
This Smart Car thought it would out accelerate my L16 620. It was close through first, but by 2nd I was starting to pull away. All while carrying 50 lbs of lawn fertilizer and a Gallon of Weed-B-Gone in the bed. :) 1 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Smart Car, not the most economical, nor the cheapest, nor the safest, nor the least polluting. It's really not anything except the smallest ... Quote Link to comment
justin 620
Smart cars are for dumb people. The amount of pollution it takes to make one of them is much MUCH more then the amount an older car gives off. I don't see how people don't understand this. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
So if I trade my 1965 Ford Galaxy with 352 engine, trade-in for a Prius, the end result will be more pollution? The amount of pollution it takes to make one of them [smart car] is much MUCH more then the amount an older car gives off. 2 Quote Link to comment
elmerfudpucker
So if I trade my 1965 Ford Galaxy with 352 engine, trade-in for a Prius, the end result will be more pollution? The battery in the prius does more damage than two of those cars. 2 Quote Link to comment
justin 620
So if I trade my 1965 Ford Galaxy with 352 engine, trade-in for a Prius, the end result will be more pollution? Yep! Your 1965 Ford Galaxy has already been built, if you drive it, you keep ANOTHER car off the road, which mean less pollution. :poke: Quote Link to comment
