ripetomatoes Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 i went and looked at one today, its a 74' pickup... got under it and there was no rust... started it and the engine had a horrible knock. so... my search continues. if i had the tools/equipment to replace the engine, i would have jumped on it. but... i dont. If you plan to be a Datsun owner... tools are a must. i have tools, just not enough. and as far as storing it, i wouldnt have the money to store it anywhere, and i cant store it here because i live in an apartment complex that wont let you work on cars in the parking lots, and they tow dead cars.
