Dice T
I just got some Fortran rims. Never heard of them but they were a really good deal. $100 for all four. Came with tires but almost bald. So anyone heard/own them before? google didn't really help. The size of the tires are 14 x 7 with a 4 x 114.3 bolt pattern. Do I need to get some offsets or spacers to make them fit on my 240z? Laecaon
offset is how much much off of center the back mounting surface is. Usually wheels would be something like 14x7 4x114.3 et12, where 12 is the +12mm of offset. Those kinda look like +25 or +35. So look on the wheel and see if you can read the offset number for us! DAT510
just looking on google it appears to be popular with the Honduh crowd, so far i've read that they are Philipino? apparently they're made in Japan http://www.wheel-who...php?f=2&t=17607 http://forums.g2ic.com/archive/index.php/t-146415-p-2.html fortran...the same maker of the mugen mr5's...i bet you can put the mr5 face onto those wheels cause the barrels and lips are identical. even the valve stem. bet you guys didn't know about that. Dice T
The rims are a two piece. The actual rim and the face (the mesh part). it's bolted on together to make one wheel. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
be faster to just bolt them up and see if they fit. Just looking at them Im 90% sure they fit. 240z will fit good 280z they fit but offset will be different where the whe wheel sits farther out. but not positive. there will be a "E" number in back of rim. this will be the offset.
