Height measurement

Can somebody tell the distance to the hood from there air cleaner with a weber carb? I am figuring out my body drop and lack a engine

This is kinda a loaded question since it has so many variables.

 

Which motor? L16 and L20 are not the same height.. :D

 

And how tall of weber adapter will matter too. Along with how tall the air cleaner is. There is several heights of air cleaners for a 32/36 weber.

 

Of course you can work with measurements that people give you if you also know what they are using.

In broader terms from what yellow620's asking, what's more important~ channeling (or body drop~ as you puppies put it), or keeping your existing intake configuration? Or in even broader terms~ show or go? There could be a hundred peeps on here with rides similar to your goals~ but only you can decide what those goals are.
