FoxyRoadster
Some of you guys might remember I've got a baja bug, well the bugs body has finally bit the big one overall due to rust and dents from offroading. I'm having to choose between a full restore job on both the pan and body or loose the body and fix the pan only. I'm leaning towards fixing the titled pan and building a pan buggy. I've already got a good powerplant for the project with a 1600cc engine with megajolt and so forth. Sorta what I'm wanting cept add some coil over suspension, windshield with wipers, blinkers, and mud flaps to keep her legal. I've already had a ton of fun offroad with the bug as it was, but I think this will take it a step up as I've already surprised a few jeeps in the past. Quote Link to comment

FoxyRoadster
maybe track down a manx body kit The ones I've found local are around 8-900 dollars used and the fiberglass is worn out. This should just cost me the cost of a cage and any sheet metal I use to seal the body up. Quote Link to comment
