Gumball Goon Project

Recommended Posts

I traded my 620 for this 69 wagon from James Johnson a while back, and am finally getting some head way on it. It came with a L16 and a 4 speed which got taken out quickly, I rebuilt the L16 for Phil(philcas1987), and sold the 4 speed to irishmanred707. I have been building a LZ22 for a while, which soon turned into a LZ23 when the hone didn't clean up the cylinders. So as of now:

Goon: Front

-280Z struts/brakes

-GC Coilovers

-1" sway bar

Rear

-Flipped 2nd leaf

-Near future tunnel raise

Drivetrain:

-Z22 block/crank/rods(crank turned, rods resized, block bored, decked and tanked)

-KA24e piston

-ARP head studs/rod bolts

-44mm intake valves(new seats, 5 angle valve job with some nice bowl work)

-Port/Polish

-Schnieder 440 lift/284dur. cam(I think)

-Dogleg 5 speed for the moment...I'll have to be nice to it

Now onto some pictures...
