ll77
hi everyone, so my hazard flashers don't work. when I turn the switch on, my turn signals don't work, when it's off they work fine, so I think the switch is okay. what should I check? think I need a replacement emergency flasher unit? albyneau
Your turn signal aren't supposed to work if the HazFlashers are on. After that~ we need more info. Are they coming on, but not flashing? Or..? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Swap the two flasher units. If the hazards work and the turns stop working then the flasher was bad. Quote Link to comment
ll77
my hazard flashers don't work. nothing happens when I flip the switch, no flashing, no lights. but when it's in the on position, the turn signals don't work. ok, so these flashers are identical then? Thanks again, Mike, always so helpful! any other things I might check? Quote Link to comment
Javin
are the wires plugged into your flaster unit? I know sounds dumb but sometimes we forget to check the simple things. Also, I replaced my flashers with electronic flashes... MUCH better:P Quote Link to comment

The switch is designed such that the turn signals are disconnected when in hazard mode. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
My 1972 flashers work perfect. How is an electronic flasher better? Because it flashes full speed when a bulb burns out, thats no good, I want it to let me know. Did mike double-post? Quote Link to comment
