izzo
Hory shet, this has been covered a few times. a quick search would turn up some killer results. No, you dont put longer bolts in the front. you re-index the torsion bars. that means raise the truck. mark off where they rest. loosen the bolts, remove the C-clips from the torsion bars, slide them back, adjust. youll figure out how to adjust them once you are under there and are looking at it. Its best if you can index them enough, so that you can tighten the torsion bars back up snugish, and still get your drop for best ride quality. otherwise its like riding on springs. sooner or later you will want to raise your shock towers too. Make sure you get a toe alignment when your done or u will eat thru tires in 2 weeks. 1 Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
no need to remove the C clips on a 521 You can do it from the front A arm. loosen the hex nut and right before its off what it with a hammer to nut ruin the threads the bar should slide out. I assume you triedd lowering the torsion bar already? and its not enough? TY this first then turn torsion bar bolt back to stock setting and reindex. then lower to your liking. might need to cut the rubber stops on the frame or remove them You might need a jack to hold drum up. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hurley
I adusted mine 1 tooth on the spline and can get it to just about sit on the frame by adjusting the torsion bolts. 2 Quote Link to comment
