herculesinwyoming
Just wondering if someone can post the cold start procedure for our old carburated cars and trucks. i know on most old american cars, push the gas pedal to the floor once before starting. is that about the same on the datsuns? I know i have a boat load of petty questions like this Quote Link to comment
Jayden71
Well, when its -20 I go out to the datsun, pull full choke, push pedal twice and she fires right up. Even after sitting for a week in that kind of weather. :o Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If the automatic choke is set up and working properly one tap on the gas will set it when cold. If very cold I like to give several pumps to richen it on the first turn. It should fire up and have a nice fast idle. Quote Link to comment
