zed1
The P195/75/14, P205/75/14, and P215/75/14 are the metric equilivants. All will fit the original 520/521 rim. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
One rule of thumb is that the older bias tires were basically an 80% aspect ratio. 6.00 was tread width in inches. That's 152.4mm. But the tread was also somewhat narrower than the sidewalls, whereas radials have the tread closer to the edge. So figure about 165 is about right. But finding a P165-80R14 tire is probably next to impossible, so to keep the height at least somewhere close you need to run a 185/75R14, 195/70 (or 75) R14, or a 205/70R14. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Mine came 185/70r14. Even found a reciept in the glove box from 19-dickity-2 that said same size. BUT...24.2" should be original OD of tire set up. 195/60r15 matches 185/70r14 Quote Link to comment
DatWifey
We had the same problem when we got our 521. I ended up finding this conversion chart which is pretty helpful to at least know the ballpark you should be in. Quote Link to comment
