rubenz
I added a mount for a Farm Jack (harbor freight version of a hi lift) to the lumber rack. had a friend weld a couple of high grade bolts to the rack so that they jack could slide in and be locked. came out pretty cool. I also installed some new truview low beams and added some harbor freight off road lights and they are pretty freaking bright and i hope they last ok. anyway i just wanted to share with you guys. izzo
Rubenz, that thing is sick man i like it! the black guard below the tubular bumper doesn't look like it would allow for much clearance, but looks like a good protector. Quote Link to comment

coladylan
Nice! Are those stock mirrors? Cuz mine (1982 720 4x4) came with the big ones and I want ones like those. I want to get a shovel mount and a highlift jack mount on mine as soon as I get a rollbar for it The stock front skid plates always look low, but they realy arent... mine saved my front end many times (who put the boulder there!!!?? haha ) Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Hey you bought that 720 off CL correct ? Looks like a clean truck. Quote Link to comment
rubenz
Yes the truck was off of San Diego Craigslist. It is in pretty good shape but has rusted out on the front of the bed and front of the engine bay near the battery tray. It has low miles 127k and runs well but it definitely needs some things squared away. Been fun so far and yes the skid plate looks low but actually hugs some steering components pretty tightly and works great. Are these skid plates stock? I noticed coladylan had the same one in some of his pics. Quote Link to comment
coladylan
Im pretty sure they were stock on the KC 4x4's... but im no expert by no means haha...they do what they are suppose to, and can save you from lots of headache. I just took mine off to make the custom bumper on mine. Mine even has a hook that bolts on to the hole on the passenger side. Quote Link to comment
izzo
Ive had 3 of these 4x4s. And i dont recall them being on there, tho i didn't really pay attention. my current one doesn't. i think i have a photo of my old one too. my 86 my 80 didn't have it either and my 85 Quote Link to comment
coladylan
Your 80 looks like it should have one.. It has the hook and all the bolt holes that mine does... The other 2 look like the valences were made to cover up that spot... so maybe it was on the 80-83s 4x4s? Quote Link to comment
