dspeirn
so im going over to a buddy of mines house to get his 510 from him in about an hour. the car has some wiring issues and im trying to drive it out of there. basically he told me that he was driving it along and then the engine died and all the power to the dash and everything went dead. after trying to turn it on a few times it stared up again and he started driving but then totally died again a little bit down the road. at first i thought just sumthing simple like a bad battery ground/ connection. but he says the starter turns over but the car isn't getting any power. im hoping its just a bad ignition switch, which i have a spare of, but if that is not it i don't really have many other ideas. any help would be appreciated in the nex half hour to an hour. thanks guys Quote Link to comment
INDY510
. Sounds like a fuseable link or a bad connection .. . .. .. .. either the coil ground or blk/wht wire Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
What paint needs to be sanded. where the ground is should be no paint cause its grounded at the head or at the trans bolt Quote Link to comment
dspeirn
it was not grounded to the engine block at all, so i added that ground. but the only ground it had was to the frame and that one was painted under and fully frosted. Quote Link to comment
