I need to replace the fuel filler hose on 76 620

hitch

Recommended Posts

I'm out of town and I'm getting this info from my son. I only have Sunday to acomplish this repar over the weekend, so I'd like to pick up the parts while out and about this week. Is it a straight hose or one of the strange ones with a vent(I remember my 510), that I'll need to order from Nissan? Will I need to drop the tank? I'll have to tell him to keep it near empty if so. If it is a straight hose, anyone know the diameter of the hose?

Thanks

On the 620, the filler hose is a short elbow clamped to the tank. The other end has a long metal tube going up to, and is bolted to the body. Any vent tubes are on the metal one near the top. You should be able to do this on the vehicle and the tank has a drain bolt on the bottom.
