I looked at my old carb and the throttle plate is good and tight on it. The throttle plate on the reman'ed one has a gap between the venturi walls and plate. Will this gap make it suck to much air and mess with mixture. If anybody has a pic of the bottom of stock hitachic carb, I'd like to see it. Quote Link to comment
superc_1 Posted February 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 16, 2008 Fixed the mixture screw, and took throttle plate off old carb and put on good carb. She fired right up and when she finally ran enough to clean the drenched plugs up she ran out smooth. Now I will have to make a decision if I want to replace stock with the weber I have.
