boxboy
I have found that where my alt. harness plugs into the wiring harness, I have a few wires coming loose from the alt side of the connector. Are there generic replacement connections somewhere, or a way to fix this without going into the alt itself? Quote Link to comment

boxboy
thanks charlie69. Not any chance I can just get some generic "spades" and repair? The plastic connector is fine, just a wire is pulling out the back. I assume since the site you referred me to sells the connector and the spades separately there would be a way to deal with it without buying both. Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
You can use generic spades just do not confuse the wires & fry something. It can get spendy when you roast parts & wiring. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The plastic connector is fine, just a wire is pulling out the back. Easy fix. Just pull spade out, use an awl or knife point to push out the tang back to normal and reinsert. It fixed some of my Datsun connectors this way. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
I use tweezer to get at the pins and get them out. If wire is pulled out and connentor still in then youll have to get a new pin or rig a way to solder the wire back on then stick it back in. another way to cheat is go to junk yard and find another T connector and cut it 5 inches back and just solder in line splice style and have heat shrink on there. boxboy
Thanks guys. I have never monkeyed with these before. I didn't know you could pull out the connectors and put new ones in. I'll take care of it. Quote Link to comment
