datzenmike Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 32114 Y4000 is the Nissan FS65W71B (5spd) part number and it's also used on the F4W71B (4spd) too. In fact used in all FS5W71B through '86.5 and FS5W71C after '86.5 and past the year 2000. Very common. Less than $5at the dealer. Quote Link to comment

I'd go with NAPA of course! :) HOWEVER, you will probably only be able to get the 8mm seal. BUT, if you go to a bearing supply house, you can still get the nicer 10mm wide seals. They're easier to get in without screwing up and what actually came in them to begin with. Quote Link to comment

HRH Posted January 9, 2011 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 The 8mm seal works fine in the front cover, pretty hard to get skew-wiffed to the side. If you do the tailshaft seal (same seal), opt for the wider 10mm, it goes in nicer and seals better. (Harder to get kicked sideways.) Quote Link to comment
