NW510Drifter Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 So I got a 72 510 with l20b, battery wasn't charging allthough the alternaters good. Had a mechanic friend help me out, connected white with red stripe wire coming from regulater to white and red wire from the ignition. Now my cars running at 13 amps but the charge light is always dimly on...even with key out, can annyone help me Quote Link to comment

It goes to one side of the Red charge light. The White/Blue goes to the ignition switched side of the fuse box. If that helps. Quote Link to comment
