gryffinwings
Sorry for bringing back an old topic, but I am very curious about this idea, does anyone have any further information. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I have some Z series bolts and they are slightly too long, to certainly too long, for the KA24E head. On some I can slip an extra washer or two in but this lessens the number of threads into the block. I even tapped the block deeper and got maybe one more thread. The damn bolts are narrower above the threads so can't use a die and put more threads on the bolts. Z20 and Z22 bolts are the same but the Z24 are a different number. The block is taller and maybe the holes go deeper before the threads start? Quote Link to comment
izzo
Did anyone confirm if the KA kit works with the Z24 motor? If not did anyone ever find one for it? Quote Link to comment
ITzDarcy
Did anyone ever come up with a way to get ARP bolts? Everyone says get ARP's but thats about it.Also probably best to get a copper head gasket right? I saw a couple on ebay for like $80.. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Did anyone confirm if the KA kit works with the Z24 motor? If not did anyone ever find one for it? KA head bolts come in different varieties: * KA24E - 11057-H5010/11057-H5000 10 needed. Reusable. Same as Z24 * KA24DE, 11056-F3F01 10 needed. TTY bolts, do not reuse. Different length than the KA24E bolts. Quote Link to comment
