Hood Pins on a 210!!

Just got them on today and they came out looking great :D . Paid $10 at Autozone for them. Only thing missing are the Landyards.

To make the Holes I used a 1/2 Drill Bit threw the Hood. and 1/8 Drill bit to make the Holes to screw in the plates

I recommend to leave the Rubber Stoppers if anyone is planning on doing Hood Pins Also. Most people place the Bolts right where the Rubber stoppers is and take them off.

Thanks.It took me 1 hour. I was scared also about drilling 2 holes threw my hood but luckily I have an extra hood :D

Looks good. I'm still working up the nerve to do this myself.

 

If the latch is broken, meh, you may have to but I found them a pain in the ass. Too bad you can't try them for a while first. Once cut the hood is committed.

Yeah I might get it alot bigger so I can put it on the Windshield. It says DATSUN in japanese :cool:
