dvaet
Hey guys I was just wondering how you are fueling your dats. Before you tell me about the search function, I tried it. And didn’t find much. I have a ‘71 510 that I am installing a Nissan ka24de into. Other than cutting a welding the tank is there anything else that has been working? I would like to go to an external but im unsure of the parts/size pump I would need for this. Any help you guys can offer would be great I’d love to get her back on the road… and as always pictures don’t hurt lol Also I have been cursing the forums for a while and this is my first post. As soon as I get a second ill upload some pics. Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic
There are external pumps that work fine. 280Z/280ZX had external pumps, and I believe they provide the correct pressure. You will need to change fuel lines though as the existing hoses/clamps aren't rated for that kind of pressure. The steel lines might be OK, but I'd change them. Quote Link to comment
