datzenmike Posted October 18, 2010 Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 Two of the wires go to the speedo one to the fuse box and another to the mixture control solenoid. At a guess it's a cold start up and run thing that is shut off above 40 mph or something. My '76 B-210 had a solenoid on the carb that was shut off when you slowed below 10 MPH. As you coast up to a stop the idle would suddenly drop. Quote Link to comment
