ProsperPerformance
Any body mount a racing seat in a 210?... Either with aftermarket seat slider bracket or stock rails? I just test fitted by new Corbeau FX1 Pro seat using the stock rails, and the seats sits WAY to high for me (I'm 6' 2" ). MY head hits the roof, and thats without my helmet on... I noticed the uneven floor on the DS side... Wonder if I can knock out the factory seat supports, and bolt my new racing seat straight to the floor. (May have to fab something while we install the roll cage) Anybody have any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Sure it has been done. Make sure you reinforce the floor Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
By the way, the stock B210 seats are too high also. I'm 6'1" and it's a tight squeeze. Can you find a smaller Datsun? Quote Link to comment

HA!... may just have to cut the roof off,.. or find a 2000 - It's smaller than a 210.. right? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
A 210 is larger than a B210. A roadster is about the same size as a B210. Quote Link to comment
ibuytooling.com
I put some seats out of a 92 hardbody in mine had to extend the brackets about 2.5 inches in the back thay fit great Quote Link to comment
Duke_CityR
Remember, the 3rd rule of Ratsun: never modify the car, only the seats. Oops, guess I missed that rule. But then again, when your 6'5" you have to do something to fit better in a 210. Probably more work than people on here were looking for, but, S14 factory floors have almost the same contours to them. I cut out my factory floor bracing from the 210, and then carefully cut the ones out of an S14. There was minimal modification required to the S14 bracing and then I just welded it right to the floor of the 210. you can kind of see the front bracing in this picture. I should have taken more pics of the work.... but I was dumb. Quote Link to comment
Kramer1981
Just got done putting Porsche 928 leather power seats in mine, and its ass heaven! Mines a 75 so I removed the stock buckets :poop: , and all I had to do was drill four holes each side. The seats I used had completely flat rail mounting. The seats fit great in the car and are deeper like from ass to knee, they sit great in the car, width is nice, just needed a hot and ground to make them work too. Ill take a photo tomorrow. The back of the seat is higher though, maybe three inches from top of headrest to headliner. Still effin sweet though  Love the smilies too! Quote Link to comment
