rollinsrods
I brought my radiator into the shop to have it cleaned since I'm doing a head gasket and they tell me it's not flowing well and I should replace it with a $290 copper/brass unit. I spent barely over that on an aluminum race radiator for a big block! WTF?! Does anyone know where to get a good replacement? I'm looking at building up the engine a bit later on, so an all aluminum one would work. After searching online, I've found a TON with huge dimensions and none with the right size. HELP! rollinsrods
Thanks for the O'Reilly's suggestions. Looks like one sixteen here. Life savers. I guess I'll do all aluminum when I figure out my next drivetrain... Link to comment
datzenmike
The L20B 620 did come with a 3 core, maybe an option. Rad shops just love to tell you to buy buy buy. Link to comment
mike
I think the 3 core was an AC/auto thing... not sure though. Ive got one in the 78 and it came out of a 78 KC with auto and AC. I bought a new one from A-star here in spokane and it was a 3 core, it was the only one they offered, it was just over $100 and it is decent quality with no fitment issues. Link to comment
