What these guys are getting at is this:

 

There is a wealth of information available on this forum and other places on the web. Go look through the many project threads. Asking such a general question never gets you far; asking a more specific question such as "what type of fuel pump should I run? any suggested brands?" will probably get you better answers. This topic has been covered more than a few times.

First of all....... you need ALL the wiring, ECU, and ALL the sensors........... even when you have that...... you may spend months just wiring depending on your skills

 

 

Second: ...... do you have a welder?......... the front crossmember will need to be flipped (or custom oil pan)....... you need to shorten the driveshaft,

custom trans. crossmember/mount,,,, new radiator,,, electric fans,,, 2 pressurized 5/16" fuel lines 1 return, 1 feed............ electric fuel pump........ custom air intake......... better brakes?...... relocate the 02 sensor, or header, or rack n pinion............ custom gas pedal.......... and that is maybe half of what will need to be done

 

 

Seriously,,,, don't even start if you don't have $3,500 and six months to 2 years of free time......... and that's if you do %90 of the work

so i made up my mind i am no longer going to ivest in my L16 and im hoping on getting a ka24de into my 510

 

 

what would be everything i need?

You need:

 

KA block

KA head

KA transmission....... or a adapter to use your L-series tranny

Intake manifold

Exaust manifold

IACV and tube

EGR blockoff plate

PCV system

MAF sensor

O2 sensor

Distributor

Coil

Spark plugs/wires

Electric fuel pump and relay

2 5/16" metal fuel lines (1 for a return line)

Fuel Rail

Stock injectors

Stock fuel pressure regulator

300zx fuel filter

Throttle body

Throttle body sensor

TPS / CAS

Red temp guage with two wires to the ECU

ECU

Complete wiring harness with plugs for all sensors and elctronic parts

3 relays and 75 hours of wiring to integrate the stock wiring to the KA wiring

 

 

Custom radiator

Electric fans

KA24E lower radiator hose outlet with temp sensor to trigger the electric fans

Custom cold air intake pipe...... with a IACV outlet

Air filter

Alternator

Starter Motor

Battery

Clutch Master Cylinder

Clutch slave cylinder

Brakes???

 

 

Flip front crossmember..... (or custom oil pan)

Custom motor mounts

Relocate O2 sensor...... it hits the 510 steering box

Inlarge shifter hole

 

 

New 2.5" exaust

Custom gas pedal,,,, with a throttle cable

And the part list I just typed is maybe %80 of what you need........ I am shure I forgot some things

With todays economy..... you can buy a running KA510 for cheaper than swapping your 510

You forgot the crank and rods and pistons, and the annoying little crankshaft keys.
