MikeRL411
PCV hose should not be attached to the back plate! This is a sure fire screw up the SU pistons. The factory filter housings bring the PCV hose in BEFORE the filter so that the filter can [obviously] filter out gross oil droplets and crud and not feed them to the SU intakes. The finned cast aluminum valve cover and riveted in drip plate capture almost all of the oil fumes and recondense them and return them to the oil sump without need for an individual PCV valve. A legal PCV recirculation without the pesky valve! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Items for sale go in the Datsun Parts For Sale. Quote Link to comment
gcmustang
There were not any parts for sale on this thread. The above were talking about where to get some parts and the part numbers they found. You had even told him where to get the parts and he couldnt find it at the dealer as mentioned so he let us know where he found them with the part number. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
If the dealer parts counter gives you a blank stare, ask for 2 liter roadster pistons. You just might have to radius the skirt wall but they come in the same sizes as the 1600 type R pistons. Quote Link to comment
