inline4
get a spot weld cutter :) there spot weld size they have different sizes, e.g. 3/8 5/16 1/2 I can't visualize in fractions. when I drill stuff I eyeball it. I can't even see where the spot welds are, so i'm going in blind. Quote Link to comment
510er
Normally you can feel where they are, I wouldnt go in blind you will just end up drilling lots of unnecessary holes.... look on both sides of the floor pan for the little divots where they are... Why are you removing the seat risers anyway? the spot weld cutter i have is 3/8" im fairly sure you dont need bigger than that for most spot welds Quote Link to comment
inline4
one of the previous owners cut parts of it out to put in seats. it wasnt done cleanly. so I want to have some bar stock welded in so I can build new seat bases. Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Harbor freight has them. I used them on my truck they work great. I suggest drilling a 7/64" pilot hole and be careful these cut fast. HF spot weld rotatry bit Quote Link to comment
